INTRODUCTION
Tani International Legal Consulting (formerly J&I Legal Office) was established in August 2000 to provide services for immigration procedures (visa applications) and various administrative procedures for foreign enterprises as well as domestic corporations. Amid the rapid internationalization of the Japanese economy in the recent years, regulations for foreign workers have been changing quickly to meet the needs of the times.
With continual dramatic changes in both the domestic and international labor environments, administrative systems need to flexibly adapt to these changes. However, for corporate policymaking, these rapid changes in regulations have placed enormous burdens on enterprises that employ foreign workers, and it is never easy for them to catch up with new information, submit relatively correct applications and provide their employees with thorough instructions.
