After teaching law at LEC Tokyo Legal Mind, at preparatory schools for civil service examinations and at universities, he registered as a Gyoseishoshi Lawyer in 2000 and founded J&I Legal Office in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo.
In 2006 the office was renamed Tani International Legal Consulting, relocated to Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo, and specialized in international legal services.
In 2018 the office moved to Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
The practice has grown around immigration procedures (visa applications) for major foreign-affiliated companies.
Today our clients include many global companies from around the world and leading Japanese corporations, across industries such as finance, IT, media, manufacturing and consulting. The office handles a very large number of applications to the Immigration Services Bureau and is regarded as one of the leading practices in this field.
